The position is responsible for a variety of projects and will rely heavily on experience and judgment to plan, organize and successfully complete projects and programs. Includes but is not limited to critical path monitoring/alignment, procurement, resource loading/forecasting/conflict resolution and critical path risk identification/mitigation.Proactively identifies and resolves potential issues before they become problems.Leads efforts to gather project level status to report on program status to stakeholders.Identifies and implements continuous process improvement initiatives to allow Operations to deliver services more efficiently.Acts as Client interface for project status and issue resolution.Responsible for reporting on pre-determined program level KPI'sParticipates in weekly project level status calls with customer, keeping expectations aligned through schedule variance tracking and risk mitigation techniques.Responsible for tracking change impact and delay impactDefines and monitors critical path and high risk project key data points for analysis. Forecasts material needs to facilitate the scheduled work for on time and under budget completion.IND1What You’ll NeedTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyBachelor’s Degree in an industry related field or combination of education and working experiencePost Graduate degree is preferred4-7 years in managing a team of direct reports4-7 years of experience in delivering OSP Telecommunications services or utility related industryExperience creating and managing the Project Management PlanPMP or PgMP Certification is preferredGood communications skills both written and verbal internally both upstream and downstream as well as externallyStrong negotiator and consensus builderProblem solver and critical thinkerProven leadership in a cross functional team environmentDrivenSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidanceProficient in various Computer applications including but not limited to Google Applications (Mail, Sheets and Documents), Bluebeam Power PDF and SmartsheetUnderstanding of Earned Value Method and Critical Path MethodologyFirm grasp on scheduling methodologyUnderstanding of the project life cycle as defined by PMIAbility to apply project management concepts, and methodologiesProficient understanding of financial practices and principlesProficient use of various organizational systemsProficient Technical WritingProficient understanding of financial practices and principlesProficient use of various organizational systemsProficient Technical WritingThe wage range for Project Manager Maple Grove is $84,000.00 - $100,000.00.Why work with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
