Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Client is looking for full time Associate Medical Director to join our talented Psychiatry and Psychology team of skilled clinicians committed to delivering high quality mental health care. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team providing family-centered, evidence-based care to children. The Associate Medical Director will be responsible for collaborating with Pediatricians and Pediatric APPs to provide general pediatric care and consults to patients for the inpatient psychiatry units.As part of the client's commitment to address a critical mental health crisis among youth, the health system built a $224 million mental health hospital which includes 48 general treatment inpatient psychiatry beds, 8 psych-med beds for kids with stable physical illness requiring acute psychiatric treatment, and 4 beds on the inpatient neurodevelopmental unit. This expansion will also include a 30-patient partial hospital program and other outpatient health services.The main hospital has 206-bed freestanding children's hospital and Level I pediatric trauma center that is in the center of a thriving medical campus.Requirements:No new graduates5-10 years leadership experiencePediatric experience
