Role: Mainframe Developer (IMS DC)Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)W2 Candidate OnlyMainframe resources with COBOL, IMS DB/DC.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, JCL, and IMS DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe application development, database administration, and system optimization. Experience with IMS DC and CICS is a plus.aKey Responsibilities:* Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL.* Perform IMS database administration tasks, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.* Design and implement batch processing solutions.* Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery processes for IMS databases.* Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop effective solutions.* Monitor system performance and optimize mainframe applications for efficiency.* Provide support for incident resolution and problem management.* Document system configurations, workflows, and technical procedures.Required Skills & Experience:* Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and IMS DBA.* Expertise in mainframe database administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.* Knowledge of mainframe utilities and debugging tools.* Ability to write and optimize complex JCL scripts.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Good to Have:* Experience with IMS DC and CICS for transaction processing.* Exposure to modern mainframe tools and technologies.Education & Certifications:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
