The company is focused on building a complete marketing operating system that simplifies content production and improves results for lean, fast-moving teams.Role Description As a full-time remote Content Manager at Sortted, you will oversee the planning, creation, and optimization of content across blogs, landing pages, emails, social media, and in-product messaging. You will manage the editorial calendar, define content priorities, and coordinate with founders, product, and marketing to ensure alignment with business goals and product launches. Daily responsibilities include briefing writers, reviewing and editing drafts, ensuring content follows SEO best practices, and maintaining consistent brand voice and tone. You will analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies, test new formats and angles, and use Sortted’s own tools to streamline workflows and demonstrate best practices to users. The role also involves documenting content processes, maintaining style guidelines, and contributing to case studies, help content, and thought leadership pieces related to AI, SEO, and modern content operations.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong content creation skills, including web content writing, long-form writing, and creative storytelling.Candidates should possess skills in content strategy and planning, including editorial calendar management and campaign-focused content development.Candidates should possess excellent editing and proofreading abilities, with attention to detail, clarity, and consistency in brand voice.Candidates should possess understanding of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content marketing principles.Candidates should possess research skills to identify audience needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning for data-informed content decisions.Relevant experience managing content for SaaS, B2B, or marketing/creative tools is beneficial.Experience collaborating in remote, cross-functional teams and using modern content/PM tools (e.g., CMS platforms, project management software) is beneficial.A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
