The ideal candidate will become a valuable member of a large, multi-specialty team consisting of twenty-nine cardiologists, three cardiac hospitalists, and ten advanced practice providers.Candidate Expectations:Clinical Excellence: The candidate should have a strong focus on clinical excellence, aiming to provide the highest quality of patient care.Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial, along with a desire to build strong community ties and collaborate effectively with the existing medical staff.Collaborative Approach: The physician will work collaboratively with all team members within the Cardiology service line to ensure coordinated and top-tier patient care delivery.What You Can Expect:Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., with a hospital rotation of 1:3.Additional Hours: Saturday, 7:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. (2 times per year) and evening hours, 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. (2 times per year) to enhance patient access.Weekend Call: 1:6, with inpatient call coverage from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. one evening every 4-5 weeks. Night call is supported by three cardiac hospitalists from 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.Average Clinic Volume: 22 patients per day, ensuring a manageable workload for comprehensive patient care.Inpatient Volume: Handling an average of inpatients.Procedural Expertise: The candidate will have the opportunity to perform various procedures utilizing state-of-the-art labs equipped with advanced technologies such as Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system and St. Jude Ensite with Perssion Mapping.Procedure Types: Covering a wide range from permanent pacemaker implants to complex ablations like Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT Cryoablation, among others.Job ID: j-194703This exciting opportunity near POLAND IN offers a stimulating work environment with a focus on collaboration, clinical excellence, and advanced procedural capabilities.
