This role is essential to maintaining our standards of craftsmanship and ensuring consistent product quality.Key Responsibilities:Select the appropriate dies and position leather correctly.Inspect leather for quality and defects prior to cutting.Ensure all cut pieces meet required standards and measurements.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following company policies.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and machines.Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periodsUse of hands, tools, or equipment as requiredRepetitive motion required in cutting tasks.Work Environment:This is an on-site position at our facilityWork may involve exposure to leather materials, adhesives, and mechanical equipmentNoise level and temperature may vary depending on departmentSchedule:Monday – Friday weekends as needed. 40 hours a week plus overtime as needed. Shift hours may vary between 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM depending on department assignment.
