Cath Lab Tech Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cath lab tech License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS certs required Must-Have: Cath Lab tech experience with coronary and interventional radiology. Experience with Impella, balloon pump, PCI, stents, pacemaker, catheterization, and rotablader. EKG settings and experience with 12 lead EKG and rhythm interpretation. Description: TMC orientation is held twice a month. We prefer a Cath Lab tech with coronary and interventional radiology experience if possible. Arizona state license is required before the start date. BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS certifications are required when submitting. Minimum of 2 years cath lab tech experience is necessary. Weekend coverage every 5-6 weeks is required. 5-6 weekend shifts are expected per contract. Weeknight call coverage is required one day per week from 17:30 to 07:00. Call covers stroke and STEMI. Experience in interventional radiology is required. The cath lab has 7 rooms including one interventional radiology room, 2 EP rooms, one combo room, 2 hybrid suites, and one cath room. The team sees around 20-35 cases daily depending on the day. Shifts are from 07:00 to 17:30 and 3x12 schedules will be considered. First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have extensive background and lots of cath lab experience. Experience with Epic is preferred. Local candidates are not accepted.
