As a Server at Bernards Tavern, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable dining experience. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system promptly. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner. Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues or concerns to ensure a positive experience. Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to accommodate new guests. Provide menu recommendations and special information, such as daily specials. Upsell additional products when appropriate, such as desserts or premium beverages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared according to guests' preferences. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper billing. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining tables, service stations, and side work areas. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
