Security Guard

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises through conducting patrols, managing access control, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Your proactive approach will help prevent theft, ensure compliance with security regulations, and maintain a safe environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities * Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or hazards * monitor activity for suspicious behavior * Manage restrict entry for employees, visitors, and contractors * Respond promptly to emergency situations using established procedures including fire safety, first aid, AED operation, and emergency response protocols * Write detailed incident reports documenting accidents, or other occurrences * Checks on visitors or vendors as required to ensure compliance with security policies * Handle conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety standards Skills * Strong knowledge of physical security measures * Experience in security preferred * Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and capable of performing basic life support procedures * Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary * Proficient in conflict management and conflict de-escalation techniques * Familiarity with firearm handling, law enforcement protocols * Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor under pressure * Knowledge of emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations * Capable of conducting thorough security screenings * Physical fitness to carry out patrols and respond swiftly in high-pressure situations Join us as a Security Guard and become an essential part of our commitment to safety!
