Job Description Job Opportunity: Family Medicine PhysicianOur organization is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our community health system located in a historic area of southeast coastal Massachusetts. We provide a wide range of medical, behavioral health, dental, and support services to over 34,000 patients from Boston, the South Shore, and Cape Cod. Additionally, we manage two Programs for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, offering comprehensive healthcare, transportation, and social services to more than 450 elderly individuals, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence within the community.Practice DetailsPatient/Administrative Time: 32 hours dedicated to clinical work and 8 hours for administrative tasks.Electronic Medical Records: Utilization of Epic EMR.Opportunities: Potential for teaching and leadership roles.Support Services: Access to onsite lab, pharmacy, integrated behavioral health, specialty services, OBAT, community outreach teams, WIC/food pantry, and more.Workload: Primarily outpatient with minimal phone call responsibilities.Experience: Preference for candidates with a background in community health center settings.Financial PackageCompensation: Competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life, and disability insurance, a 403b savings plan, generous paid time off (PTO), and professional development stipends.Loan Repayment: Eligibility for federal and state loan repayment programs.PTO: Starting with 25 days of PTO plus 11 paid holidays annually.CME Support: Up to $2,500 for continuing medical education and 5 days of leave per year.Malpractice Coverage: Provided under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).Licensing Costs: Reimbursement for initial and renewal licensing expenses.Community and LocationLocation: Situated in a desirable seacoast community with convenient access to both Boston and Cape Cod.Distance: Approximately 40 miles south of Boston, Massachusetts.Community Features: Rich in history, offering numerous historic sites, museums, festivals, boating activities, and waterfront dining options.
