US Group Facilities Manager
Almac Group is currently seeking a US Group Facilities Manager. The US Group Facilities Manager is responsible, in conjunction with the Director of US facilities, for the identification and implementation of effective maintenance strategies in all US sites to ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements. Ensure that department and business compliance are met, and actions are completed within agreed timeframes. Responsible for the PA maintenance and calibration programs. Responsible for the delivery of specific in scope facility related projects. To Deputize for the Director of US facilities when required.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manage the maintenance and calibration compliancy to ensure all quality observations, investigations and associated CAPA are thoroughly documented and completed on time. Ensure approved contractor and supplier lists are up to date. Ensure the Maintenance and Calibration staff and contractor training curricula is accurate and training maintains compliancy. Ensure facility as-built documents are up to date and compliant. Support client and regulatory audits as required by the Almac Business Units.Direct and lead the PA Maintenance and PA and NC Calibration Teams to ensure programs maintain business and regulatory compliancy in support of each of the Almac Business Unit’s Service Level Agreement. Manage the maintenance and calibration SOP’s ensuring that all processes are current and the SOP’s are up to date. Ensure SOP’s support is applied consistently across each site and Business Unit.Manage assigned Facilities minor works projects, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, safely and in a compliant state that supports each of the Almac Business Units.Manage the facilities and related equipment spare parts and obsolescence planning program which supports the business requirements and long-term planning strategy.Manage the health and safety program within the maintenance and calibration teams to ensure compliancy with the established regulatory requirements. Identify and implement mitigations for identified risks to protect the staff, facilities and products.Qualifications:Required Experience / Education:Bachelor’s degree or certified technical training in mechanical and/or electrical EngineeringMinimum 5 years of Maintenance and Calibration Management experience in a pharmaceutical environment.Minimum 5 years of Departmental Management experience.Preferred Experience / Education:Facilities project management experience in a pharmaceutical environmentOperations in a GxP environmentBuilding Management Systems.Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.What can Almac Group offer you?
