The platform is rapidly expanding across the U.S., serving millions of patients, and is positioned among the largest teleradiology groups nationally.About the Opportunity:The Engineering Manager, Data will lead and build the AI Data Platform team responsible for the foundational data infrastructure supporting FDA-cleared AI diagnostic products. This role is critical for advancing the development of next-generation diagnostic tools by ensuring the platform's reliability, scalability, and compliance. The position involves hands-on technical leadership initially and transitions to full-time management, working closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.Responsibilities:• Hire and manage a team of data engineers, establishing processes and engineering culture• Take full ownership of the AI Data Platform that handles clinical imaging data and reports• Define and execute the technical roadmap aligned with business objectives• Implement data quality frameworks and ensure compliance with HIPAA and relevant regulations• Collaborate with AI, Product, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to align platform development with organizational needsRequirements:• Passion for building technology to improve healthcare• 8+ years in software or data engineering, including 2+ years in engineering management• Strong expertise in data engineering, system design, and coding in Python and SQL• Experience with cloud-native data platforms, data infrastructure, and orchestration tools• Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and adapt in fast-paced environments• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience• Preferred experience in healthcare or regulated industries, MLOps, and multi-cloud environmentsPay Range and Compensation Package:• Base salary range: $190,000-$230,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefitsEqual Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
