Purchasing Manager

Connections Personnel is hiring for a direct hire Purchasing Manager for our client located in Plainfield, NJ . Looking for a candidate that has worked in the resin or molding industry to join the team. Responsibilities: Managing all purchasing, procurement, supply chain activities and materials handlers.Focus on JIT (Just-In-Time) and Lean inventory management, vendor negotiations and handling material storage. Managing purchasing, procurement and supplier relationships to ensure raw materials are available. Implementing JIT and Lean inventory strategies and managing incoming materials.Managing staff responsible for moving materials, including handling siloes and railcar storage.Handling negotiations with suppliers for goods and services.
