JOB TITLE: Part-Time Physical TherapistDEPARTMENT: Physical TherapyREPORTS TO (Position): Matt DeGarmoSTAFF SUPERVISED (Approx. # of FTEs): 13TITLES OF THOSE SUPERVISED (If applicable): Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist's Assistants, Physical Therapy AidesEXEMPTION STATUS: Non-ExemptJOB SUMMARY- This position is for a WV board Licensed PT for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday day shift work in our outpatient clinic primarily. Will also assist 6 other PTs with rotating weekend call for care of our inpatient population (usually #s 2-3 average on weekends, but sometimes zero, depending on inpatient needs). Shift can vary (your preference but needs to be consistent for scheduling purposes) during the day with 8 hour shift M.W.F between hours of 730a and 530p. Patient population consists mainly of geriatrics, but also see sports medicine, neurologic, orthopedic patients of all ages.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSWV State Physical Therapy License in good standingLicensure/Certification:WV State Physical Therapy License in good standingCPR CertificationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSMust be physically capable to perform the duties of a Physical Therapist including but not limited to patient transfers, positioning patients for treatment, performance of treatment plans, etc.JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONAL SKILLS(Detail job competencies)Must be able to perform the duties of a Physical Therapist according to the WV physical therapy guidelines in the outpatient and sometimes the inpatient care settings and following all federal regulations required.
