School Custodial / Janitorial Supervisor

The Supervisor is a hands-on position that will execute work tasks and oversee team operations.  This person will direct the work of multiple teams, and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by the company.  Are you looking for the opportunity to ensure team members have the information, inventory and tools necessary to be successful? Full time opening: Monday-Friday: 2:30pm-11:00pm with occasional weekend work (school setting)* *Hours are subject to change during school breaks. We usually go to first shift hours during school breaks. Pay Rate: $18/hr. Duties: Regular custodial / cleaning duties Floor care Product delivery Equipment drop off Specialty project work Custodial inspections Quality control: monitoring staff and building cleanliness Team management: interviewing, hiring/firing, scheduling, training and leading team Inventory and budget management Administrative duties Client relations Requirements: Great Attendance! Your own vehicle to drive during shift, valid driver's license, valid insurance, and can pass a motor vehicle records check Ability to pass a drug screen (no THC) and background check (no past or pending criminal history-needs to be able to work in schools) 18 years of age or older with valid ID Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in the custodial service industry / similar industry Minimum 2 years of custodial experience Basic understanding of standard office technology (you will use a computer and tablet on a regular basis) Floor care experience Leadership experience Benefits of joining our team: PTO, Holiday pay Opportunities for advancement / promotion Phone stipend Gas card Company tablet/laptop Merit based pay increases $300 Referral bonuses for qualified candidates.
