Preschool Classroom Teacher

YWCA Hanover is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. We provide vital community programs, including licensed childcare services for children ages 1 to 12, and support initiatives that foster awareness and social change. The YWCA of Hanover is looking for a fun energetic preschool teacher our three-year-old classroom. The candidate must be able to plan, implement and organize developmentally appropriate activities for children ages three to five. Observe and assess each student's growth and development, maintain a positive, healthy, and safe learning environment and promote positive and professional relationships with children and families. Communicate with parents and families in a positive manner, following DHS regulations and maintaining STAR 4 standards. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED CDA or a degree in Early Childhood preferred 4 clearances (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI, and NSOR) 2 recommendation letters Physical with TB test 2500 hours of documented experience working with children Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
