Specialized Approaches to Individual Learning Program or SAIL (PreK-3): This program is primarily for students with significant cognitive disabilities including autism, but it also serves students with other diagnoses. Generally, the students require extensive ongoing support for learning, social, and activities of daily living. Students in this program may utilize the MCAS Alt as opposed to the traditional MCAS and will be on course to be in the public school system until the age of 22 without earning a high school diploma. Students in the SAIL Program receive evidence-based programming that emphasizes safety, independence, social, functional, and academic skills.
