Superintendent – Light Industrial Construction📍 Chicagoland, IL We are partnering with a national design-build general contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to support a growing pipeline of light industrial and logistics projects.This company has built a strong reputation delivering ground-up industrial facilities, distribution centers, and manufacturing buildings, with project sizes ranging from 10,000 SF to over 1M SF across multiple states.Key Responsibilities• Oversee day-to-day field operations on ground-up industrial projects • Manage subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the project team • Coordinate inspections, materials, and site logistics • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards • Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and clients throughout the project lifecycleQualifications• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up construction projects • Experience with light industrial, warehouse, or distribution projects preferred • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and site coordination • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain project timelines • Excellent communication and leadership skillsWhat’s Offered• $140K – $170K base salary + performance bonus • Company truck or vehicle allowance + gas card • Strong benefits package • Opportunity to work on large-scale industrial projects with a reputable national GC • Clear path for growth into a General Superintendent role
