Job Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities: - Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients - Administer medication reminders - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques - Help patients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met - Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment - Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including toileting and hygiene needs - Follow care plans and communicate any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Requirements: - Previous experience in memory care or assisted living is a plus - Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles - Ability to lift and move patients safely, using proper body mechanics - Familiarity with catheter care is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to caregiving - Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately - High school diploma or equivalent required Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN Benefits: 401(k) Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Referral program Medical Specialty: Home Health License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) CNA (Required) Ability to Commute: Anderson, IN (Required) Ability to Relocate: Anderson, IN: Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Required) Work Location: In person
