Business Data Analyst

Contract onlyonsite in New York locationwe need only locals for this position non locals will not workable for this position.RESPONSIBILITIES:Analysis of business processes to understand current setup, navigating through multiple systems, products and coordinate with multiple stakeholdersConduct user interviews and run workshops documenting current state process and pain pointsPropose and gain consensus on future state processes, focusing on the creation of new centralized teamCreate user journeys and personasCreate business requirements (BRDs) for extension of existing Firm onboarding platforms to support new functions. At times create FRDs (functional requirements)Elaborate requirements and provide support to multiple IT development teams in the implementation of requirementsPresent findings to senior stakeholdersSKILLS REQUIRED:5+ years business and data analyst experience (preferably in banking)Experience in product-management and playing the product-owner roleExperience in managing multiple stakeholdersExperience in authoring business and functional requirementsExperience with Data and Business analysis tools/tech SQL, Perl/Python, Visio, Rally, JIRA, Boxi, Collibra, Signavio, Excel etc.Experience with Data governance5-7 years experience in an Ops / IT project leadership role with commensurate people management experience.Experience in mapping business requirements to product featuresExperience with BPMN 2.0 process flowsClient Onboarding experience a major plusReference Data experience a major plusUse case documentation a plus
