If you're ready to grow with us while enjoying competitive compensation, great benefits, and a fun work environment, we look forward to meeting you!QualificationsMust be able to communicate effectively in English verbal and written, bilingual is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalentAssociate degree in business discipline preferredTwo (2) years Title 31 experience preferredStrong understanding and comprehension of all Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering regulations specific to a casino preferredMust possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondenceMust be proficient in Microsoft office including word, excel and power pointMust possess the ability to meet deadlines, and possess the ability to use discretion in handling confidential informationMaintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlinesMust be able to frequently move freely about the property, maintain manual dexterity to operate job related equipment, such as telephones, copiers, etc., withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restrictionBe able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smokeAbility to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assignedMust be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectivesMust maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite mannerMust be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politenessMust be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methodsResponsibilitiesThe AML Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Internal Audit Director with the day-to-day audit process and ensuring compliance under Federal & State regulations.Adhere to the Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team complianceResponsible for executing the daily Title 31 audit processIdentifies audit issues and summarizes findings in a clear and concise mannerGathers and interprets data to support decision makingPossess the ability to recognize patterns and possess the ability to communicate detailed information to management for resolution or further analysisFiles CTR/SARC/Form 8300 reports timely and accuratelyWorks closely and collaboratively with AML Coordinators in addition to operational managementProvide prompt and professional communication via emailPossess the ability to maintain all regulated paperwork and postings.Monitor and review all Title 31 operational areas and assist in the drafting of sound, effective and operationally efficient internal control procedures that comply with all applicable laws and regulations.Assist the Internal Audit Director with investigations relating to reported suspicious activityInform the Internal Audit Director of potential non-compliance issues promptly and appropriately.Ensure all team members are in compliance for all Title 31 programs, monitor team member Title 31 training and assist departments in meeting training requirements for successful and timely completion.Provide any other Title 31 support to casino departments and functions as needed.Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations in relation to Title 31Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this jobPerforms other related duties as assignedEvery staff member is expected to adhere to the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida Merit System Policies; they are also expected to work collegially and to support all the teams with which they have contact in achieving the Enterprise's objectives.Any other duty as required commensurate with the position, department, and organization.This job description is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties and requirements, efforts or working conditions association with this position. You must be willing and available to fulfill these demandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use balance. Additionally, the team member will frequently be asked to use hands and arms carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision.
