This role requires deep technical expertise in Windows Server technologies and a proven track record of managing complex enterprise environments.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group PolicyLead the planning and execution of server upgrades, patches, and maintenance activitiesManage and optimize virtualization platforms (Hyper-V/VMware) and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS)Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutionsMonitor system performance and capacity planningDevelop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and proceduresProvide escalated technical support and troubleshootingMentor junior system administrators and provide technical guidanceParticipate in on-call rotation for critical system supportTechnical Requirements7+ years of experience administering Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCPStrong experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMware)Proven experience with backup and disaster recovery solutionsExperience with PowerShell scripting and automationKnowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimizationMicrosoft certifications (MCSE, MCSA, or newer role-based certifications)Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)Knowledge of configuration management tools (SCCM, Ansible)Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with DevOps practices and toolsExperience with security compliance frameworks HIPAAPreferred SkillsLeadership & Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesExperience leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior staffStrong documentation and process development skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsEducationBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fieldAdvanced technical certifications preferredContract DetailsDemonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.Identifies best practices and standards for the use of the product.Delivers support and design for industry specific technologies that require integration with systems or networks.Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.Functions as a niche technical SME.Lead experience with technical expertise across large, complex implementations for systems.Minimum Education/Certification RequirementsBachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experienceSkills (Contract)Experience administering Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
