Web Developer, Digital Experience & Platform Integrations - Contractor
We're building a public-facing interactive campaign page and need a contract developer to own it end to end: build it in AEM, integrate a third-party engagement/voting platform, and connect it to our existing account and CRM systems, so it feels like one seamless experience, not a set of disconnected logins. This is a defined, well-scoped engagement, but we're looking for someone senior enough to make sound technical calls along the way, not just execute a fixed spec. Strong performers may be considered for follow-on work after launch. What You'll DoOwn the build: architect and develop the AEM pages for a public campaign experience, including content, commerce, and interactive sections.Design the integration: evaluate, embed, and configure a third-party engagement or voting platform, writing the custom code, CSS, and JS needed to make it work well and look native.Set the identity strategy: recommend and implement SSO or a pass-through workaround (magic links, pre-fill) so a logged-in account carries through to the experience, no duplicate profiles.Architect the data flow: work with Salesforce and an automation/iPaaS layer to verify account status and route data back, in a way that's maintainable after you're gone.Handle user-submitted media: design the upload, moderation, and public gallery experience.Lead technical vendor evaluation: stress-test edge cases before launch, and push vendors past marketing claims to confirm what their platforms actually do.What You'll BringWe're looking for strength across most of this, not a perfect checklist match:AEM experience: or fast, demonstrated ramp-up from a comparable enterprise CMS.Front-end fluency: JS/HTML/CSS, comfortable embedding and customizing third-party widgets.Identity know-how: hands-on OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML integration experience.Salesforce fluency: API experience or an iPaaS tool like Workato, MuleSoft, or Zapier.Vendor savvy: reads API docs, runs evaluation calls, separates real capability from sales pitch.UX instinct: reduces friction in forms, sign-up, and voting flows.Independent judgment: comfortable owning tradeoffs and proposing an approach, not just waiting for a spec.Nice to HavePlatform experience: contest, sweepstakes, or engagement/voting SaaS platforms.Domain fit: life sciences or scientific marketing background.
