Data Innovation and Analytics Manager

Manager, Data Innovation and AnalyticsLocation: Remote with in-person meetings once per monthPay: $140-160k DOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Manager, Data Innovation and Analytics to lead a cross-functional team that designs, builds and operationalizes modern analytics solutions. This role will drive data strategy and innovation across the organization, translate business needs into scalable data products, and deliver actionable insights through robust data pipelines, advanced analytics and BI platforms. The manager will partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams and vendors to modernize data infrastructure, ensure data quality and governance, and accelerate time-to-insight.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor and grow a multidisciplinary analytics and data engineering team, providing technical guidance, career development and performance management.Define and execute the data innovation roadmap, prioritizing projects that deliver measurable business value and align with organizational strategy.Design, build and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing solutions to support analytics, reporting and machine learning use cases.Architect and manage data processing and analytics platforms including Databricks, relational databases and cloud data warehouse technologies.Develop, review and maintain analytics models, statistical analyses and data products using Python, R and SAS where appropriate.Create and maintain robust SQL codebases for data extraction, transformation and reporting; ensure best practices for performance and maintainability.Lead the design and delivery of dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau and SAP Analytics Cloud to enable timely, accurate decision-making.Ensure strong data governance, quality controls, lineage and documentation across pipelines and datasets.Partner with product owners and stakeholders in an Agile/SCRUM environment to deliver iterative value, manage backlog and ensure on-time delivery of features.Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party tools and platforms to support analytics and data platform needs.Establish metrics and KPIs to track impact of analytics initiatives, monitor adoption and iterate based on feedback.Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement by piloting new tools, techniques and machine learning approaches.Qualifications7+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data engineering with a foucs in team leadership or managementDeep proficiency with SQL and relational database design and optimization.Strong experience with Databricks and modern data processing frameworks.Proven experience building and maintaining ETL and ELT pipelines and data warehousing solutions.Hands-on programming experience in Python; experience with R and SAS is a plus for advanced analytics.Experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau and/or SAP Analytics Cloud.Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies; experience working in sprint-based delivery models.Solid understanding of data governance, data quality practices, and metadata management.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.Certifications in cloud/data technologies, Agile/Scrum, or BI platforms are a plus.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401k with company match Email Your Resume In Word ToMadeline.Griffin@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
