Senior React UI Developer – Cross-Asset Trading Platform (5 days on-site – Jersey City, NJ)

Location: Jersey City, NJ (5 days on-site)About the Role:We are seeking a skilled React UI Developer to contribute to the evolution of a cross-asset position management platform used across credit and macro products.This role focuses on modernizing and enhancing front-end architecture, including migration initiatives from legacy desktop technologies to web-based solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with a product-oriented mindset and experience delivering high-quality, scalable UI applications.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop modern, high-performance user interfaces using React.Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and promote scalable design patterns.Participate in migration efforts from WPF-based applications to React web solutions.Build interactive components to support cross-asset position monitoring and management.Integrate third-party UI libraries (e.g., AG Grid) and optimize data-heavy interfaces.Collaborate closely with backend developers, product teams, and end users.Technical Skills Required:+10 years of strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.Proven background in UI architecture and scalable front-end design.Experience migrating legacy desktop applications (e.g., WPF) to web-based frameworks.Solid experience with data grid libraries such as AG Grid or similar tools.Exposure to trading or position management systems across asset classes (credit, macro) is highly desirable.Soft Skills:Product-driven mindset with attention to user experience and performance.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Entrepreneurial spirit; experience in startup environments is a strong plus.Proactive and solution-oriented approach to technical challenges.Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
