As Project Manager, you are responsible for managing all aspects of the event life cycle by defining project objectives and strategies to define scope with the client and project team members, monitoring and controlling service delivery according to project timeline and overseeing all post-event reporting and billing. The end result is a goal of 100% client retention as a result of superior service delivery.

Manage, plan and execute events for assigned accounts, adhering to deadlines and controlling scope of work.
Oversee the entire life cycle of event tasks, coordinating with internal departments (RCs, FP, CC, Onsite, LR)
Establish and manage project schedules and work breakdown structures to ensure project objectives are met in a timely, efficiently, and profitable manner.
Budgetary responsibility for cost management of event, working in partnership with account executive to ensure overall event profitability.
Document and communicate statuses and issues to project team and senior management
Create and maintain project organization chart.
Meet with client to determine project deliverables and scope.
Identify and address any resource gaps.
Conduct continuous reviews of project deliverables and scope with the client.
Create and maintain project timeline in conjunction with client & project team.
Assign responsibilities to team members.
Establish communications and create, maintain written meeting specifications throughout the planning process.
Proactively consult client throughout planning process providing creative alternative solutions to meet client needs.
Provide leadership and mentorship to team in respect to skills and procedures.
Plan, organize and provide weekly status meetings with each internal project team and external clients
Provide weekly status updates to internal stakeholders.
Manage escalation of issues with leadership as needed.
Conduct post-event reviews and reporting for external and internal team, including lessons learned and recommendations for improvement when needed.
Make recommendations to benefit clients’ bottom line and improve future meetings.
Finalize, prepare and deliver final post-event reporting and billing to customer.
Qualifications:
Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution required.
Strong knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance required.
Proven aptitude for technology and/or software solutions and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational, time and project management skills, ability to multi-task.
Ability to travel to client offices or show site is required (approximately 30% travel).
Minimum 5 years of meetings industry experience preferred.
CMP or PMP certification highly desired.
Education:
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.
