Overview:
Kavaliro is seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong Joomla experience to support a high-impact program within the Intelligence Community. This role is ideal for someone who can own the full website lifecycle—from planning and design through development, optimization, and maintenance—while operating independently within a small, agile team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end website planning, architecture, and development efforts
Develop, maintain, and enhance Joomla-based websites
Write and maintain custom code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Implement and manage SEO best practices to improve site visibility and performance
Ensure a strong focus on user experience (UX) and intuitive design
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize web applications for performance and scalability
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored web solutions
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Proven experience with Joomla development and administration
Strong experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with custom code development and website customization
Solid understanding of SEO principles and implementation
Experience designing and optimizing for user experience (UX)
Ability to work independently as a solo developer within a small team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting government or intelligence community programs
Familiarity with secure web development practices
