Position Summary: The Telemetry Technician performs a variety of technical tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The duties include continuously observing real-time electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) readouts for multiple patients simultaneously. The telemetry technician measures and records data, alerts nursing regarding changes in condition. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma/GED required Associate's Degree/Clinical Certification preferred or comparable central telemetry experience. Certifications: CPR Required CNA certification preferred Telemetry exam and competency in EKG interpretation must be successfully demonstrated. Experience: Previous experience preferred RUSH salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data.
