At SMS, YOU MATTER.Position Overview:We are seeking a Mammographer to join our growing team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full-time, employee-centric organization. You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.New to Mammography? We offer paid initial training to help you get started in this rewarding specialty.Anticipated Schedule:4 days per week10 hours per shiftWeekly guarantee of hoursResponsibilities:Screening mammography at clinics, corporate and community outreach locations within the Twin Cities metro areaTeam of two mammographers or one mammographer and an assistant working together on a 26' straight truck equivalent mobile mammography unit equipped with Hologic 3D mammography systemMammographers and/or assistants drive the mobile unit to the screening locationsQualifications:Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology programMust be registered with ARRT, American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists or Licensed to perform general radiographic proceduresPrefer 40 hours of training in mammography. Willing to trainAbility to drive or experience driving equivalent to 26' straight truck. Willing to trainAbility to produce quality imaging with limited supervisionMust be able to interact in responsible, professional and ethical mannerMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust possess valid Class D Drivers' License.
