Title: Security Operations Center Dispatch OperatorLocation: On-site in Kennett Square, PA (No remote work)Terms of Employment• W2 Contract, 9 months• Location: On-site in Kennett Square, PA (No remote work)• Shift: 1st Shift (approx. 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) including rotating weekends and holidaysOverviewWork with a leading energy provider in their 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC). As a SOC Operator, you will serve as a critical link in the company's security infrastructure, managing real-time emergency responses, alarm monitoring, and corporate security communications. This is a high-impact role where your ability to remain calm under pressure directly ensures the safety of employees and assets.Key Responsibilities• Monitor regulatory and non-regulatory security alarms from a central console.• Act as the primary point of contact for security events via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.• Log and address urgent security requests, including emergency access removals and system repairs.• Perform badge verification and document all security incidents affecting the business.• Coordinate with internal teams such as Business Continuity and Investigations, and dispatch local law enforcement when necessary.• Facilitate detailed shift hand-offs to ensure continuous information flow across 24/7 operations.Required Qualifications• Minimum AA degree, or High School or GED with 2 years of Security System or IT experience.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security systems, IT, or emergency dispatch.• Proven ability to remain calm and effective in stressful or emergency situations.• Strong verbal and written communication skills for logging incidents and coordinating responses.• Flexibility to work overtime (up to 12-14 hour shifts) and report during inclement weather.• Must be available to work weekends and major holidays (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas).Preferred Qualifications• Associate Degree is preferred• Experience using CCure 9000E, ExacqVision, or similar intrusion alarm system.• Prior experience as a 911 Operator or Emergency Dispatcher.• Background in IT Help Desk or technical support.• Experience with badge access systems and corporate security software.
