In this role, you'll support the construction and repair of large stainless steel tanks used in regulated, food?grade environments. The role is training in Springfield, MO and will be able to travel. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders looking for steady project work, competitive compensation, and a chance to showcase advanced stainless steel TIG/MIG skills.What You'll Do as a Stainless Steel Tank Welder / Fabricator: Perform pulse TIG welding on stainless steel (primarily 304 & 316)Execute pulse MIG processes as neededFabricate, repair, and modify food?grade stainless steel tanksGrind and polish welds to meet food?grade finish standardsRead and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawingsMaintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsComplete required weld and grinding qualification testsCollaborate closely with supervisors and fabrication team members to meet production goalsWhat You Need to Bring to the Stainless Steel Tank Welder Role: Proven experience welding or fabricating stainless steel tanksProficiency with pulse TIG and MIG welding processesAbility to pass a practical weld test for stainless tank or vessel work, including vertical and overhead welding positionsOSHA 10 certificationDemonstrated food?grade welding and finishing experienceAbility to travel for project?based assignmentsFamiliarity with union/non?union environments (both welcomed)#CareerChangeByDohertyReady to Apply?Click Apply Now to submit our quick, mobile-friendly application. A $104/day per diem is available for eligible travelers, with preference given to candidates located 60–300 miles from Morris, MN for standard subsistence arrangements.
