Airfreight Station Manager West (Los Angeles)We are seeking an experienced Airfreight Station Manager to lead our Los Angeles air freight station, one of our most complex and high-volume air gateways in North America.This is a fully onsite senior leadership role with broad operational scope, significant people leadership responsibility, and full financial accountability.The Station Manager is responsible to deliver measurable outcomes across service, productivity, financial controls, customer growth, continuous improvement, and culture.You will lead large-scale, complex air freight operations while ensuring consistent execution and performance.Your responsibilities will include:Owning full P&L responsibility for the LA stationLeading high-volume air freight operations from shipment opening to closureDriving productivity, cost discipline, and operational excellence at scaleEnsuring compliance with standard processes, KPIs, and governance requirementsLeading continuous improvement programs and operational change initiativesSupporting customer growth through close partnership with sales and direct engagementActing as a leader of leaders, guiding managers and supervisors across teamsEmbedding a culture of accountability, inclusion, and performance ownershipYou are likely to be successful if you bring:10+ years of logistics or freight forwarding experience35+ years in senior operational leadership rolesProven experience managing large teams and complex air freight environmentsStrong financial, analytical, and decision-making capabilityExperience driving standardization and operational improvementClear, confident communication across senior stakeholdersCargoWise experience preferredBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experienceWhy this role?Leadership ownership of a strategically critical air freight gatewayInfluence across operational, financial, and customer outcomesOpportunity to lead at scale in a highly visible roleCollaboration within a mature and experienced air leadership networkImportant to knowThis is a 100% onsite roleFlexibility required to support operational and customer needsLimited travel may be required (<10%)Starting Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 USD*Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.Notice to applicants applying to positions in the United States: You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position.
