We specialize in residential construction projects, and we're seeking a skilled carpenter to join our dedicated team.Job Description:As a Carpenter at Mitchell Construction Group, LLC, you will play a crucial role in executing various construction tasks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will work on a range of projects, from new constructions to renovations, and will be responsible for interpreting construction drawings, measuring, cutting, and installing materials.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications and requirementsMeasure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power toolsAssemble and install structures and fixtures such as frameworks, floors, and cabinetsInspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixturesCollaborate with other construction professionals, including project managers and subcontractors, to ensure timely project completionMaintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulationsManage and maintain tools and equipment in good working conditionRequirementsQualifications:Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably with 3+ years in a similar roleProficiency in using various hand and power toolsStrong understanding of carpentry techniques and materialsAbility to read and interpret construction documentsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a teamGood physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditionsValid driver's license and reliable transportationMust be authorized to work in the U.SPreferred Qualifications:Relevant certifications or vocational training in carpentryExperience with residential construction projectsKnowledge of building codes and safety regulationsBenefitsBenefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualificationsHealth, dental401k Retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidays
