Accounting Lead (Manufacturing)Location: Rochester, NYPay: $75,000 – $80,000 per yearJob Type: Full‑time, OnsiteERP System: Infor SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial)About the RoleWe are a small manufacturing company (approximately 45 employees) seeking a hands‑on Accounting Lead to manage the day‑to‑day accounting activities for our Rochester location. This is a stable, individual‑contributor role.The Accounting Lead will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, handling sales tax filings, and submitting routine financial reporting to our U.S.‑based parent company in Indiana. This role is well suited for an experienced accountant who prefers a hands‑on, execution‑oriented position in a steady manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDay‑to‑Day AccountingPerform accounts payable and accounts receivable processingPrepare and post journal entries to the general ledgerComplete daily cash, bank and balance sheet reconciliationsWeekly KPI reporting to parent company, including 13 week cash flow forecastMaintain accurate accounting records in the SyteLine ERP systemMonth‑End Close & ReportingSupport and execute monthly close activitiesPrepare standard financial reports and basic variance explanationsSubmit monthly financial reporting packages to the parent companyManufacturing & Inventory AccountingMaintain inventory accounting, including WIP and finished goods valuationSupport standard costing and manufacturing variance analysisBudgetingPreparation of the annual operating budgetTrack actual results against budget and provide routine reportingAudit & Year‑End SupportPrepare audit schedules and supporting documentation at year‑endNo responsibility for audit coordination or audit managementSystems & Process SupportAct as the primary finance user of the SyteLine ERP systemAssist with routine troubleshooting related to purchasing, inventory, and production transactionsSupport basic process documentation and consistencyQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of accounting experienceERP experience required (SyteLine preferred)Strong Excel skillsAbility to work independently in a small‑company environmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $75,000 – $80,000 per yearMedical/Dental/Vision/401k match/company paid sort term and long term disability/company paid life insurance/paid time off/10 paid holidaysConsistent workload and expectationsLong‑term, stable role
