Job DescriptionLocation: Fredonia Agg KYJob Req ID: 16550Join our amazing team and contribute as a:\nGroundsman - Level IIABOUT THE ROLEThis position is responsible for all ground operations, such as clean up, greasing equipment, basic, routine maintenance in and around the plant.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH\n\nPerform minor servicing and maintenance on plant equipment as needed.\nInspect conveyors and processing plant; replace screens and guards.\nCleaning and lubricating equipment.\nShoveling aggregate and wash out.\nPerform minor servicing and maintenance on plant equipment as needed.\nInspect conveyors and processing plant; replace screens and guards.\nPerform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.\nSafely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as bob cat, skid steer, man lift, water truck, and haul truck.\nAssist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing and repair of equipment to further their abilities.\nDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nEducation:GED or High School Diploma preferred\nRequired Work Experience: Experience working in varying weather elements preferred.Additional Requirements:\n\nAbility to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions.\nHighly dependable, ability to work in a fast paced environment.\nAbility to learn plant flow, plant operations to include conveyors and crushing equipment.\nHave the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.\nPrevious experience in a construction or quarry environment is preferred.\nThis job requires shift work, callouts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime, weekend and holiday work. Employees may have the work schedule adjusted on short notice.\nSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
