Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination.
Conduct property tours, promote available units, and upsell features to prospective tenants using effective sales techniques.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other legal standards.
Maintain accurate data entry in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; handle contracts, lease agreements, and legal documentation with precision.
Resolve conflicts promptly and professionally through effective conflict management strategies; address tenant concerns with empathy and clarity.
Oversee property maintenance requests, coordinate repairs, and ensure facilities management standards are met.
Handle administrative tasks including filing, record keeping, phone etiquette, and data entry to support smooth daily operations.
Foster excellent customer service by building strong relationships with residents and prospective tenants through personalized communication and attentive service.
Collaborate with leasing teams to maximize occupancy rates through targeted marketing efforts and effective sales techniques.
Monitor property safety protocols and ensure compliance with all legal administrative procedures related to landlord-tenant law.
Experience
Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, preferably within multifamily or affordable housing communities.
Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite or similar property management software; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law to ensure full compliance.
Strong customer service skills combined with negotiation abilities to upsell units and negotiate lease terms effectively.
Experience in legal administrative processes such as contracts management and filing essential documentation accurately.
Office experience demonstrating proficiency in data entry, phone etiquette, conflict resolution, and administrative support functions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a lively and energetic approach that motivates team members and engages residents.
