Production Expeditor Coordinator The Production Expeditor Coordinator tracks project progress, material delivered to shop floor and assist in the issuing and return of work orders. Key Job Responsibilities Tracking project progress Report on daily production hours to Production Supervisors for projects within the facility. Report delinquent work order closing and assist the planning team with timely closure of work order. Expedite missing or delayed parts to maintain production schedules. Maintaining all parts organized and separated for each project. Verifying material that has been delivered are being issued correctly and systematically to each project. Production Support Keep track on due dates on missing material. Communicate with production leads-supervisors regarding material shortages, delays, or issues affecting workflow, discrepancies. Assist in prioritizing and scheduling work to meet deadlines and customer demands. Help to train employees & leads on utilizing LN Maintain a clean work area and follow 5S basics Documentation and Reporting Update any related smart sheets, spreadsheets for each project within the facility and scope. Update tracking systems (e.g., SPS or ERP software) to reflect current job and material statuses. Help to correct discrepancies between drawing and BOM. Communication Serve as the liaison between production, warehouse, planning, quality, and other departments. Communicate clearly with team members to ensure understanding of production priorities and changes. Problem Solving Identify potential production bottlenecks and take proactive steps with the Production Supervisor to resolve them. Work with team leads to troubleshooting and resolve material flow issues efficiently. Support other departments on issuing correct materials into system Any other duties assigned by TAS. Job Skills Coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks. Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information. Understand and respond to a diverse population. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to Operate Forklift Computer literacy Knowledge of Microsoft office Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings Strong Organization skills Education and Training High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum Requirements Two to six years related experience. Physical Requirements/Work Environment Work is performed in a shop environment. Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable. Physical effort equals frequent moving of up to 50lbs materials. Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach. The use of Safety Glasses is required. The use of earplugs is recommended. Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day (with lunch in between) and up to 6 days a week. Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment. Occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading.
