RF Test Engineer | Austin, TX | On-site | US Persons OnlyA venture-backed Austin space company is hiring RF Test Engineers at two levels to support the development of next generation satellite communication systems.The company designs and builds communications hardware for satellites, UAVs, and launch vehicles. They are scaling fast, working on hardware that ships into orbit, and the test function sits at the centre of everything they do.The roleYou will own RF test from plan to execution. That means defining test requirements with the design team, building reusable test architectures, running measurements on real hardware, and presenting results to engineering leadership and customers.Day to day you will work with VSAs, VSGs, VNAs, spectrum analysers, and signal generators. You will write the scripts that automate the tests, design the systems that run them, and shape how the company tests RF products as it grows. Phased array experience is a strong plus.This is not a button-pushing role. Senior test engineers here sit in design reviews early, influence design-for-test decisions, and have a real voice in the product.Two levels availableMid-level: 4+ years with a BS, or 2+ with an MS in EE or Computer Engineering.Senior: 6+ years with a BS, or 4+ with an MS.
