Apply via Dice today!Location- Remote but candidates must be in one of the locations listed by Regions(Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Birmingham, Dallas, Houston, Tampa, Orlando, Denver)Train Engineer1 level of internal interviews followed by client interview8+ Yrs expLook for SAFE certified candidates pleaseAlso look for RTE experience only, not Scrum master or Project manager experienceBelow is the original JD:Train Engineer manages and optimizes the flow of value through the Agile Release Train.Primary ResponsibilitiesOversees medium-sized or two small to medium release trains with complex scope and inter-dependenciesFacilitates the agile processes at the program/train level, including planning periodic reviews and planning sessionsHandles communication and collaboration between Agile teams within the Agile Release Train (ART)Removes barriers and impediments to ART effectivenessIdentifies enterprise-level continuous improvement opportunities and drive implementationTracks and communicates key ART metrics, including impediments, feature execution progress, and business value deliveryCollaborates with the appropriate teams to translate business strategy into technology strategy and ensure that capabilities required by the business are enabledCreates retrospective improvement roadmaps by analyzing all activities and actions that have previously been performed and finding ways to improve each process as a way of continuous improvementUnderstands which metrics are beneficial and should be tracked, how these metrics should be interpreted and how the project course can be corrected even if the findings are showing risksUnderstands the program's budget and how budgeting works within a SAFe environmentUnderstands and operates within the Agile Release Train budgetThis position is exempt form timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science or a related fieldFive (5) years experience as RTE, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Project/Program ManagerCertifications/LicensuresScaled Agile such as Agile Practitioner, SAFE certified Release Train EngineerSkills And CompetenciesPrior management experience preferredKnowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approachMust be able to effectively prioritize and assign work to meet deadlinesMust be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of the organizationMust demonstrate excellent leadership skills to manage various stakeholders effectively at the train and Solution levelExcellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
