Recreation Specialist/DSP

This position receives differential pay added to the base rate, with the differential pay the hourly pay rate range is $17.50 per hour to$23.10 per hour. Some Job Responsibilities: It is the responsibility of the Recreation Specialist/DSP to organize and plan recreational activities. It is the responsibility of the Recreation Specialist/DSP to ensure that all individuals at their site receive support that is consistent with Support with Dignity and the Core Competencies. It is the responsibility of the Rec/DSP to participate in trainings that will help them better understand and support those they work with. Job Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Complete and maintain AMAP and SCIP certification, as per the Center's policy. Valid NYS Driver’s License. Must be able to sit, stand, lift 50 lbs.
