Painter's Helper And Detailing

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Painter's Helper to assist experienced painters on new and used cars. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in painting and vehicle restoration. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting various painting and preparation tasks across different job sites. Prior painting and car detailing experience and familiarity with hand and power tools are a plus. This role plays a vital part in ensuring quality workmanship and efficient project completion. Responsibilities Assist with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and cleaning surfaces prior to painting Mix paints, primers, and other materials according to specifications Support with the application of paint under supervision Prepare projects by prepping cars Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment Experience Prior experience in painting or related trades is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills is advantageous Knowledge of color theory, and schematics. Experience with industrial painting, airless paint spraying. Hands-on experience in remodeling, restoration, or maintenance person tasks enhances suitability for this role This position offers valuable exposure to various aspects of the automobile and painting industry while supporting professional growth within a dynamic team environment.
