SharePoint Site Support – Software/Web Developer

Position OverviewVision IT is seeking a SharePoint Site Support – Software/Web Developer to support mission-critical operations at Los Angeles Air Force Base. This role is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting SharePoint-based websites, applications, and collaboration environments in support of Department of Defense mission requirements.The ideal candidate will combine strong SharePoint development experience with web/software development skills and an understanding of DoD cybersecurity and compliance standards.(This Position is Contingent Upon Award)Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, workflows, and applicationsProvide day-to-day support for SharePoint environments, including troubleshooting and issue resolutionDevelop custom web solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologiesSupport migration, modernization, and enhancement of legacy SharePoint content and applicationsManage site permissions, access controls, and security configurations in accordance with DoD policiesEnsure SharePoint solutions comply with cybersecurity requirements, including STIGs and RMF guidelinesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsIntegrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems, databases, and tools as requiredPerform testing, debugging, and performance optimization of SharePoint solutionsMaintain documentation for site architecture, configurations, and development standardsProvide user support and training for SharePoint functionality and best practicesRequired QualificationsActive DoD Secret Clearance or higher (must be current and transferable)CompTIA Security+ certification (required)Experience developing and supporting SharePoint (Online or On-Premises) environmentsProficiency in web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIsExperience with SharePoint administration, site configuration, and permissions managementUnderstanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements and secure development practicesAbility to work onsite full-time at Los Angeles Air Force BasePreferred QualificationsExperience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure servicesExperience supporting DoD, Air Force, or Space Force environmentsKnowledge of Agile development methodologiesStrong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Why Vision IT?At Vision IT, we lead with People First, ensuring our employees and customers thrive.
