McConnell and Sons, Inc. is seeking a Regional Merchandising & Foodservice Specialist to support merchandising and foodservice initiatives across assigned accounts. This role plays a vital part in executing merchandising standards, supporting foodservice programs, implementing resets, and building strong customer relationships through consistent on-site engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct monthly on-site visits to assigned convenience store accounts to maintain merchandising standards and strengthen customer relationshipsExecute scheduled merchandising visits during regular business hoursRemove discontinued or underperforming items and replace them with approved or new merchandise to optimize assortment and sales performancePromote and implement new foodservice programs, product launches, and sales initiatives aligned with company objectivesPerform full store resets, including: Replacing item tagsReorganizing shelves and displaysEnsuring planogram complianceComplete special projects and additional assignments as neededRequired Skills, Qualities, & QualificationsStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsCuriosity and interest in convenience store distributionHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work professionally with individuals from diverse backgroundsPrior merchandising and planogram execution experienceFoodservice experience preferred, especially within convenience retail environmentsAbility and willingness to travelValid driver's license with maintained auto insuranceAbility to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screeningEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma (Required)Some college coursework (Preferred)Typical Work ConditionsMonday–Friday: Will include field travel to customer locations using a personal vehicle, monthly meetings, planning, and administrative tasks.Work performed in varying weather conditionsUse of a personal cell phone during work hoursDaily physical activity, including: Lifting, moving, and handling products up to 20 poundsConstructing, adjusting, and resetting shelving, displays, and foodservice equipmentProlonged standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reachingPerforming merchandising resets in diverse store environments
