Join us to do the best work of your career as an Electrical Engineer on our growing team in either our Newark, NJ or our Philadelphia, PA office.What You will AchieveWe are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in electrical consulting Engineering field to join Vanderweil as an Electrical Engineer. You will be involved in:Work with Sr. Engineers and Project Managers to understand project goals and requirementsParticipate in meetings / discussions with the team members, including the owner, project architect, and other internal and external project disciplines.Part of project team in designing the building infrastructure, including medium Voltage and Low Voltage electrical service, main electrical distribution equipment, building distribution equipment.Document design calculations and design path decisions.Model electrical distribution systems with our analysis software.Perform electrical load calculations and electrical engineering studies.Use Revit to model electrical systems is a plus.Perform site surveys and CA field visits.Essential Skills & Requirements6+ years of related experienceFE and or PE preferredBachelor's degree in EngineeringRevit knowledge is a plusUnderstanding of the NEC, IBC and IECC.SKM, AGI 32 and AMPCALC 4 desired.Our Flexible & Hybrid Work CultureWe know that work/life integration is important to our employees.
