Location: Barksdale AFB, LASecurity Clearance: Active TS/SCI (Must be able to obtain a CI Poly)Job Type: Full-TimeTarget Salary Range*: $116,700 - $117,000This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salaryPosition OverviewThe Program Security Representative II provides multi-discipline security support for one or more customer Special Access Programs. This position provides day-to-day multi-discipline analysis for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program activities.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Policy and Program SupportEnsure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding Special Access Program, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and collateral data in support of U.S. military operations.Provide day-to-day security support, including continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems.Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.Risk, Compliance, and Facility ReviewsIdentify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs.Monitor, report, and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.Assist in providing contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight.Operations Security and AwarenessAssist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program.Brief all levels of personnel, both in the government and senior civilian services, on a variety of security-related topics.Coordinate with SAP security personnel to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the curriculum for the SAP security education and awareness program.Incident and Compromise SupportConduct exploration of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified or sensitive information.Conduct preliminary inquiries and generate damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience; orAssociate degree and 10 years of relevant experience; or12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.Experience8–10 years of related experience.Security Fundamentals Professional Certification may count toward no more than 5 years of experience.SAP experience.
