DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Chemical Inventory & Payable Specialist to support the chemical purchasing workflow within our operations. This position is responsible for generating purchase orders, processing invoices, maintaining accurate system records, and supporting operational reporting.The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate with data entry, and comfortable working in ERP systems and chemical reporting systems.Essential Functions- Review of chemical delivery tickets received from operations- Generate and enter Purchase Orders (POs) into ERP system- Ensure purchasing documentation is complete and accurate- Match vendor invoices to corresponding Purchase Orders- Verify, classify, and code invoices in preparation for processing- Enter and post invoices into ERP for Accounts Payable- Communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies- Assist with account reconciliations- Download monthly invoices from utility accounts- Enter completed work orders into Chemical systems- Track chemical recommendation orders through workflow- Generate chemical product use reports upon request- Provide support for financial audits, reporting and month-end activitiesRequirements- One year of clerical accounting, accounts payable, or general office experience.- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or other ERP system- Knowledge of general accounting/bookkeeping principles- Understanding of generating Purchase Orders and matching invoices for multiple entities- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)- Experience using Chemical reporting systems such as Agrian / Telus- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail- Capabilities to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume production environment- Ability to solve problems and have professional communication skills-Driver's license may be required.
