Bilingual DC Onboarding & Training Lead-Evening Shift (Mon-Thur 4:30pm to 2:30am)

Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The main responsibility for this position is to provide verbal and written translation support from English-Spanish-English, ensuring that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original visual graphic or verbal conversation as clearly as possible.ResponsibilitiesTranslate written material from English to Spanish and/or Spanish to English, edit the wording as needed.Research retail operations, HR, marketing, etc. to find the most appropriate translation.Partner with internal clients to discuss any unclear points.Proofread and edit final translated versions.Provide internal clients with a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text via the appropriate communication medium.Provide “live” translation support during group meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc., including onboarding and training support.Prioritize work to meet deadlines.Uphold confidentiality when involved in sensitive conversations.Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.Must be able to work in all departments performing various functions of the Merchandise Processor position.Qualifications2+ years’ experience teaching or translating English to SpanishAbility to speak fluently in both English and SpanishHigh degree of proficiency Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)Strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a teamAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environmentSelf-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reportingSkillsAdvanced knowledge and experience with Google applicationsExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skillsExcellent organizational skills with ability to work well under pressure and deadlinesAbility to work well with others and a variety of communication styles and skillsAbility to take initiative and manage multiple projects to timely completionPhysical RequirementsLift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for up to 10 hours at a timeStand for long periods of time and walk continuously Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as neededClimb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feetLift up to 50lbs.
