This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement of materials while maintaining quality and cost targets.Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead the RFQ process for the procurement of indirect materials, services, and capital equipment, ensuring optimal business value through competitive pricing and alignment with requirementsOversee contract review as a key strategic function, ensuring all agreements support operational goals, protect the organization’s interests, and align with compliance requirements.Negotiate, review, revise, implement, and manage blanket purchase agreements and purchase ordersEvaluate, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to support organizational needs and strategic sourcing initiativesContinuously identify and pursue cost‑saving opportunities across all procurement categoriesCollaborate with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and resolve quality, delivery, or cost concernsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction in purchasing and inventory management processesMaintain accuracy and compliance within the purchasing system by effectively utilizing Hexagon EAM, Infor ERP LX, CaneaOne, and Medius.EducationBachelor’s degree in relevant field; equivalent experience consideredExperience8-10+ years of experience in purchasing / procurement, ideally in the manufacturing industryKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook & TeamsReliable, dependable, with a high work ethicProven capability to handle concurrent responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailExhibits flexibility by embracing challenges and seeking continuous improvement and personal growthStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to work with project managers and cross functional teams on capital investments & procurement activitiesEnsure purchasing activities comply with company policies and standardsSupport audits and internal reviews as requiredWork ModelHybrid – in office at least three days per weekBenefitsAlleima USA LLC offers a comprehensive total compensation package including a competitive benefits package of Life, Health, and Disability Insurance, Vision, Dental, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and a 401 (K) Retirement Savings Plan.
