The CIP analyst should have experience with Strategic Mobility (Deployment and Sustainment); Commercial Transportation Networks; Intermodal Connectivity, bulk fuels and commercial lift.The program plays an integral role in achieving mission assurance (MA) and complements other TRANSCOM programs concerning risk management. The CIP Analyst is responsible for supporting TRANSCOM, with onsite and offsite support and may travel within the U. S. and overseas as necessary. The CIP Analyst is responsible for supporting military and DOD civilian leaders in planning, organizing and coordinating CIPand MA program requirements.Essential FunctionsServe as a lead subject matter expert (SME) supporting the development of TRANSCOMS Mission Assurance ProgramAct as liaison between assigned command for all CIP and MA related issues.Provide support, as necessary, to all phases of MA assessments, including providing research and on-site travel support and mission analysis.Provide MAA 101 training to new RMC employees and provide new mission analysts with functional training and mentoring.Support preparation of graphical, oral, written reports, briefs, and products in support of the CIP and MA Programs.Serve as advisor to client on all CIP and MA matters and provide research and analysis using DoD Mission Assurance and Navy/USMC CIP policy and guidance, as directed.Assist in educating/informing client and leadership on the value of the MAA and significant risks and vulnerabilities to assets and infrastructure supporting TRANSCOM.Support MA assessments and perform mission decomposition or other roles as requested.Develop briefs and information papers for internal and external use on CIP and MA topics.Participate in exercises and war games and provide input on potential impacts to TCAs and associated missions.Assist the client in making recommendations and reviewing submissions to the Marine Corps Critical Asset Identification ProcessEnsure that relevant, timely, and actionable TCA information is available to COCOMs, subordinate commands and units, CIP stakeholders, and asset owners.CompetenciesExperience in Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) on both NIPRNET and SIPRNET as well as actions required in the Mission Assurance Risk Management System (MARMS), Global Mission Assurance Portal (GMAP), Operational Orders, Task Orders, and/or validated requests via NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS MS Outlook.Must have excellent writing skills, strong communication abilities, good time management, computer, internet, and organizational skills.Work confidently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to independently support multiple projects.Proven ability to write about complex issues in a well-organized manner and synthesize large amounts of information.Superb research, analytical, writing, and editing skills.Customer service oriented and experienced in providing support to client personnel.Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet multiple deadlinesFamiliarity with military organizations and protocol is desirable.Possess an in-depth knowledge of concepts, best practices, and controls in a breadth of mission assurance areas/domains, such as governance and risk management, access control, physical security, business continuity/disaster recovery planning, network security, application, and operations security.Ability to work in a team environment and perform leadership responsibilities to ensure team tasks are successfully completed within required timelines.Possess strong problem-solving skills.Ability to coordinate the efforts of multiple SMEs across subject areas to provide a holistic view of mission assurance posture.Possess the ability to understand and explain complex subjects so that they can be understood by wide audiences.RequirementsEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree or minimum of 15 years’ experience working within the DoW or TRANSCOMMinimum 5 years’ experience working within the DoW and with mission assurance or protection related programs, 15 years’ relevant experience required with no bachelor’s degreeOther RequirementsSecurity Clearance: Obtaining a DoD TS-SCI Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for clearance level required for the job.Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until the expiration date.Travel Flexibility: Willingness and capability to travel, CONUS and OCONUS approximately 25% of the time.
