Position Summary Cooperstown All Star Village is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to assist in leading kitchen operations and delivering high quality meals to players, families, and guests. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Outlet Manager with kitchen leadership and daily food preparation.Supervise kitchen staff and maintain efficient workflow.Ensure all food meets quality, presentation, and safety standards.Assist with menu execution, inventory, and ordering.Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment Qualifications: 2-3 years of culinary experience in a highvolume or fastpaced kitchen environmentPrior leadership experience supervising or training kitchen staffStrong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelinesAbility to execute menu items consistently and efficiently during peak service timesExcellent communication, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to adapt quickly and problemsolve in a dynamic, fastmoving settingServSafe or equivalent certification Preferred: ServSafe or equivalent certification Working conditions /Physical Requirements Fastpaced, highvolume kitchen supporting multiple meal services dailyLong periods of standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working around heat and commercial kitchen equipmentVariable schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hoursTeam-oriented environment with frequent interaction across culinary, service, and operations departmentsHighenergy atmosphere driven by tournament schedules and large crowdsRoutinely exposed to varying weather, dust/particles, and high-volume kitchen conditionsFrequently bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting and reaching.Visual ability to identify cleanliness standards and potential safety hazards.
